Who we are
MiraVe Inc is a 501(c)3 Non-Governmental Organization created in October 2020 in Virginia, USA, in honor of Jesus Martinez Vda. De Castillo (1934-2020). Inspired by the work and impact Jesus Martinez had on countless people during her life, MiraVe aims to fill the void left by this exemplary human being by improving the quality of life of underprivileged Peruvians who need it most. We believe that meaningful change is possible when many people get together to share ideas and resources to better ourselves and our communities, no matter how far away we may be from each other.
Our mission
Our mission is to improve the education, health, and quality of life of underprivileged people who need it most. We seek to achieve these goals by partnering with nonprofit organizations in Peru to complement their operations and elevate the quality of care they offer, creating our own in house online classes run by volunteer teachers, offering scholarships and advanced education guidance, and by helping marginalized groups get access to the tools and resources they need to better their lives.
Our vision
Our vision is that as more and more people escape the cycle of poverty and abuse and achieve a fulfilling life, they will work on their communities and help others achieve the same. The work we do fosters self-sufficiency as well as the development of strong support networks, so that we can all grow stronger together and become better every day.
